I found my metal thermometer easy to read and it came with loops making it easy to attach. The dual temperature scale of plus and minus allows me to have an accurate reading, this is important as it plays an important role as I use it to measure the temperature in my loft to protect my pipes from freezing up and causing potential damage to ceilings in the event of a burst.
