The Solino Garden thermometer is made with plexiglass and metal, and can be put in to the ground using the mounting spike.
The unit has a solar power panel on the top, which collects energy during the day and is then able to power up a light once night time falls.
The unit can be left outside constantly, and is fully weather resistant.

Overall a very good product and it is exactly as described. My only criticisim is that the temperature reading line of the themometer is quite thin - my old version of something similar had a much fatter line which made reading the outside temperature through a window far easier to see without having to move one's head all over the place.
Excellent product , easy to assemble, had one before, nice see temperature in back garden day or night.
Very pleased with this. Does exactly what is says in the advert, and accurate, quick response to temperature change. easily visible from distance, as wanted. (you have to be at the correct angle to see it - but no problem.) Easy to assemble with the self tapping screws provided.
